The Taylor Summer Festival is a Downriver summertime institution, regularly drawing tens of thousands of people to Heritage Park on the fourth weekend of June. The event runs from Thursday evening through Sunday evening. There are offerings for everyone in the family.
The annual Friday night concert in the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion offers some of the best acts performing in the Downriver area. This year’s headliner is Loverboy. In the past, featured performers have included Sebastian Bach, Warrant, Sponge, The Romantics, Phil Vassar, and many others.
The carnival/midway usually opens on Thursday and runs through Sunday.
Friday’s feature is the annual concerts in the Sheridan Center.
Saturday’s feature is the annual Taylor Summer Festival Fireworks Display, held at approximately 10 p.m. after a full day of events and concerts, along with a Taylor Color Fest Run during the day.
