Arnett Chisholm - Inducted in 2003

Arnett Chisholm, an outstanding athlete from Taylor Center High School, is a four-time state champion in high school track and field. He won the indoor 70-yard high hurdles in 1974 and 1975, the indoor 70-yard hurdles in 1975 and the outdoor 120-yard high hurdles in 1975. In fact, his time in the hurdles in 1975 was the fastest in the nation.

He earned a four-year scholarship for track to the University of Michigan and became a three-time Big 10 champion and All-American.

Chisholm earned a bachelor’s degree in 1979 and a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.
