The market is participating in the “Power of Produce” program, which provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through exposure to new fruits and vegetables. POP kids receive vouchers to spend at the market, allowing them to make their own shopping decisions – as long as they are choosing produce. In addition, the market now accepts the Snap/Bridge Card/EBT program, and will continue to do so this season. To mark the City of Taylor’s 50th anniversary, the market will partner with the Taylor Historical Society to offer displays focusing on the community’s past five decades during each market this season.

  7. New Taylor High School holds kickoff celebration

    The new Taylor High School is opening this fall, the result of a merger between the old Truman and Kennedy high schools.
