City to begin sewer maintenance program in north end on April 26

The City of Taylor has completed an inspection program which has identified sewers with interior surface deterioration, cracks, and leaking joints in an area roughly south of the Van Born Road corridor, from Inkster Road to Pardee Road.

The City of Taylor has contracted with Liquiforce Services to rehabilitate sanitary sewer mains by installing cured-in-place pipe lining.  Liquiforce Services and their subcontractor, Infrastructure Services, will be in the areas shown beginning Wednesday, April 26, to begin cleaning and lining the sanitary sewers.

Hennessey Engineers, Inc. will be monitoring the work and notifying residents of upcoming work.  The attached NOTICE TO RESIDENTS Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Work will be handed out to residents whose sanitary sewer line will be rehabilitated.

In addition, Liquiforce Services will also be providing notification to residents a day before the work is to be performed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause.  The City, Hennessey and Liquiforce will try to limit the inconvenience as best as possible.  Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.  Should you have any questions please contact City Engineer Greg Mayhew, at (734) 374-1473, or by email at gmayhew@ci.taylor.mi.us.
