    Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion

    The Taylor Made Market plans to open the 2021 season on Wednesday, June 2 inside the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion in Heritage Park, and run through Wednesday, September 29. Market hours will be from 2-6 p.m. The Taylor Made Market is moving to Wednesdays this year to coincide with the Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens' highly popular "Music & Art in the Gardens" that runs every Wednesday evening during the summer. Make yours a one-stop visit to Heritage Park by attending the Farmer's Market before taking in the "Music & Arts in the Gardens" series? It's a great way to spend a Wednesday in Taylor.

  1. Mats for the Needy

    September 15, 2021, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

    Volunteers straighten out plastic grocery bags, some cut up bags into strips, some tie the strips together, then others croquet the strips into mats. Each mat needs between 750-800 bags to make. We can always use volunteers to help, no matter what section of the process. The mats are then donated to a church that distributes them to the homeless.

  4. Bob's Painting Class

    Supplies needed: Basic colors for watercolor painting, watercolor brushes suitable for size painting you are doing, container for water/brush cleaning, rags, watercolor 140 lb. paper-cold press is best, 8 x 10" or larger is preferred, mounting board sized to fit your watercolor paper and tape to hold it.

  5. Fall Bowling at Skore Lanes

    This is a non-sanctioned league. Teams generally consist of four bowlers so ask your friends to join you and get out and have some fun with other seniors from our area! If you can't convince them to join you, don't worry, we'll pair you up with other bowlers. You do not need to pay for weeks missed during the season. We have a mystery game for the first and second games (not mandatory). Based on the amount of bowlers participating, a 50/50 raffle drawing may be possible again this year (not mandatory). Looking forward to seeing you there!
