Mary Ann Rilley, City Clerk

City Clerk Mary Ann Rilley has served the City of Taylor as a member and chairwoman of the City Council and as a member of the Solid Waste and Risk Management committees and Recreation Commission. She became clerk in August 2003. Her children, Elizabeth and Brian, recently graduated from Michigan State University and Wayne State University.

In addition to the services listed above, the City Clerk is the custodian of all City records and keeps a permanent record of the proceedings of all the City's boards and commissions. Voter registration and election administration are very important aspects of the Clerk's Office because the election process serves as the people's voice in government. As such, it is important to register to vote and vigorously exercise your rights by voting in every election.
