|Cynthia A. Bower, City Clerk
Hi! My name is Cynthia (Cindy) Bower and I am your City Clerk. I am a lifelong resident of Taylor, married to Gary and have three beautiful daughters, Katelyn, Megan and Carolyn. I was elected on November 5th, 2013 after being appointed in July of 2012 after our former Clerk retired. Below is a summary of a few of the services my office currently provides. If you have a group who is interested in registering to vote and would like me to come to an event to assist in registering voters, please contact me at 734-287-6550 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to register to vote via the US Mail, please click on the link to the left named Election Info and there is a mail in request form. You can also print an absentee ballot request for the upcoming elections on this page too. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have and I will gladly respond. Remember, every vote counts, so please exercise your right to vote.
In addition to the services listed above, the City Clerk is the custodian of all City records and keeps a permanent record of the proceedings of all the City's boards and commissions. Voter registration and election administration are very important aspects of the Clerk's Office because the election process serves as the people's voice in government. As such, it is important to register to vote and vigorously exercise your rights by voting in every election.
TOP TEN REASONS TO VOTE:
1. YOUR VOTE MATTERS! Many justify their apathy by saying their vote does not matter, there have been elections decided by one vote!!
