ABOUT BOATING SAFETY MAY 3

The Ecology Center in Heritage Park will be the host to the Flotilla 091-18-10 (Trenton) "About Boating Safety" course on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4. This program is a "must" for every boater and is the only two-day course in the area (most involve several additional days). 

Cost is $40 per person. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day on the second floor of the center, which is located at 12425 Pardee near Coan Lake. 

This is the classroom version of the flotilla's online course. This beginner class will offer knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Many insurance companies offer discounts to boaters who successfully complete "About Boating Safety."
