Aging Commission

Mission Statement:

The Aging Commission serves as an advisory board to the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Aging and shall address attention to the aged and/or handicapped citizens of the City of Taylor.

Board Composition:

The five members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor
The last three of five members must be of the age fifty five or older
All appointed commissioners shall reside in the City of Taylor

Term of Office:

The initial term of office of the members shall be three two year terms and two one year terms.  Thereafter, all Commissioners will be appoint for two year terms.

Meetings:

The Commission shall hold monthly meetings and the Director of Aging shall designate the time and place thereof.
