Food specials, great view, live music are all part of Rock the Dock at Lakes of Taylor

Great casual dining specials, a relaxing atmosphere and live music will be part of the first Rock the Dock on June 11 under the new outdoor pavilion at Lakes of Taylor Golf Club.

The pavilion, known as “The Dock,” is located in the rear of the impressive Lakes of Taylor clubhouse, 25505 Northline Road. The evening gets under way at 5 p.m.

Delicious dinner specials will be available throughout the night. Live music will be performed by members of the Hoover Middle School Jazz Band from 6 to 7 p.m. and the Truman High School Jazz Band from 7 to 8 p.m. Both Taylor school bands consist of talented local musicians and have drawn rave reviews.

Those in attendance can enter raffles for free golf at Lakes of Taylor and Taylor Meadows.

“Come out and enjoy a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere while supporting our local school jazz bands,” said Jeff Dobek, Taylor’s director of golf, parks and recreation.
