Several departments from the Oakwood Healthcare System will be represented, including Oakwood Heritage Hospital, Heart Health Screening, Childhood Asthma, Car Seat Safety and Family Health History.

There will be a raffle drawing with great prizes. Those who sign up can get a 10-percent discount on Recreation Center memberships.

On the way out of the center, stop by Massage by Nancy for a quick massage.

“This is probably my favorite event at the Recreation Center,” said Manager Chris Schwartz. “We enjoy putting on this event because it gives us a chance to work with such wonderful people and help them accomplish their health and fitness goals. Organizations get to take a day and come to the center and fill the public with great information on how they can better their lives. Just getting active could jump start someone to change and become a healthier person.”
