Free series of jobs and economic assistance events scheduled for April

Taylor residents and others are invited to a free series of jobs and economic assistance events hosted by U.S. Rep. John D. Dingell April 5-9 at various locations.

How to Get Hired in 2010
When: 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 5
Where: Monroe County Community College Meyer Theatre (La-Z Boy Center), 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe
Details: Meet with an expert panel of human resource managers to discuss what they look for when hiring. Receive helpful tips and hints on resumes, interviewing skills and "red flags" that may cause an application to be disqualified. RSVPs are encouraged. Free Tax Clinic
When:
Noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6
Where: ACCESS Community Health and Research Center, 6450 Maple Road, Dearborn
