MitoAction Energy Walk

The MitoAction Energy Walk for mitochondrial disease is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, September 19, at Rotary Park on Telegraph Road, between Northline and Goddard roads behind the Michigan State Police Post, in Taylor. To join the Marti’s Mito Angels team, visit www.mitoaction.org. Donations also will be accepted.

Mitochondrial disease is a chronic genetic disorder that occurs when the mitochondria in cells fail to produce enough energy for cell or organ production, and is difficult to diagnose. It affects thousands fo adults and children.
