POLICE MAKE ARREST IN BANK OF AMERICA ROBBERY

Taylor Police have arrested Nicole
Christine MacNeil (DOB 09-20-86), in the Bank of America robbery that occurred
on January 6.

Surveillance cameras caught the
woman entering the location, 20202 Eureka, Taylor, presenting a
note, brandishing a semi-automatic pistol and announcing the robbery. She fled
the location with an undisclosed amount of money.

Based on the images, detectives
quickly made a connection between the suspect and another bank robbery in Southgate. By the
following morning, various tips came in focusing on MacNeil, who lives in Taylor.

Taylor Police set up surveillance
of her home and eventually made an arrest of MacNeil’s brother on a separate
issue. MacNeil was found in the home and arrested on another warrant, just over
24 hours after the Bank of America robbery. A search of the residence
discovered evidence used in the Taylor
robbery.

MacNeil is charged with armed
robbery and bank robbery, each punishable by a life sentence or any term of
years. She is being held in the Wayne County Jail on $500,000 bond.
