How to properly Install a Safety Seat:
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), every year, thousands of young children are killed or injured in crashes, mainly because 3 out of every 4 children in child safety seats are not properly secured, or even worse, not restrained at all.
The Taylor Police Traffic Division will assist you with a child seat installation and/or inspection. Just call our certified child passenger safety seat technician at (734) 374-1672 or our main number at (734) 287-6611 for an appointment.
You can avoid becoming one of these statistics by learning the proper way to install your child’s seat. To learn more, click here for a child car seat instructional video.
