Spaghetti dinner to benefit the family of Taylor police Cpl. Matthew Edwards

A spaghetti dinner will raise funds for the family of Taylor police Cpl. Matthew Edwards, who was killed in the line of duty in July. The dinner will be served from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 26, at the Woodhaven Community Center, 23101 Hall Road, near I-75. The day will include family entertainment, auctions, children's activities and prizes. Tickets are $10 in advance at Odette Chiropractic, Woodhaven City Hall and local police departments. Tickets will be $12 at the door. Admission for children ages 4 to 12 is $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Children 3 and under eat free. All donations and checks should be written to TBL/FBO Edwards Family. Cpl. Edwards died July 23. He is survived by his wife and two small children.
