Spaghetti dinner will help pay for Taylor woman's growing medical bills
A spaghetti dinner will raise funds to help a Taylor woman pay for medical bills that keep piling up. The dinner for Regina Lloyd is scheduled for 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall at 165590 Pine Street, just down the street from City Hall.
Regina suffers from asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) as well as leg and nerve damage from chemotherapy performed after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her immune system is very low and her activity is limited. Unable to work, Regina lost her health insurance.
Tickets for the benefit dinner are $7; $4 for children 6 to 12; and free for children 5 and younger. The meal will include spaghetti, salad and bread.
The day will include door prizes, live entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, a silent raffle, a cake walk, face painting for children and gift baskets.
