St. Alfred Parish Fall Festival is September 17-19

The 46th annual St. Alfred Parish Fall Festival is scheduled for September 17, 18 and 19 at 9540 Telegraph Road, one block south of Wick Road.

The festival features a large carnival, food, entertainment, games and drawings. There will be music, a kiddie game tent, Vegas games, Bingo, an ethic food tent with covered seating, dinners, a $12,000 big raffle drawing, 50/50 raffles and more.

Dinner will be catered by Halina’s. Prices are $9 for everyone 12 and older; $4 for children 5 to 11. Children under 5 can eat free.

Here is a day-by-day schedule of events.

Friday, September 17

  • Festival hours are 5 to 11 p.m.
  • The Reflections, members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will perform from 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Vegas hours are 6 to 11:30 p.m.
  • Bingo hours are 6 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, September 18

  • Festival hours are noon to 11 p.m.
  • Pay-one-price ride wristbands can be used from noon to 6 p.m.
  • George Acklin will perform from 2 to 6 p.m.
  • Export, a classic rock and blues band, will perform from 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Roast beef dinners will be served from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Vegas hours are 6 to 11:30 p.m.
  • Bingo hours are noon to 11 p.m.

Sunday, September 19

  • Festival hours are 1 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Pay-one-price ride wristbands can be used from 1 to 9 p.m.
  • The Kielbasa Kings will perform from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Steve King and the Dittlies will perform '60s through '80s music from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
  • City chicken will be sold from noon until it’s sold out.
  • Vegas hours are 3 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Bingo hours are 1 to 7:30 p.m.
  • The Dream Raffle and Fab 4 Raffle will be drawn at 7:30 p.m. in the Activity Center.
  • The $12,000 big raffle drawing winner will be drawn at 9:30 p.m. in the entertainment tent.
