Taylor Community Chorus sings the songs of Broadway and the Silver Screen

Members of the Taylor Community Chorus will perform their annual Spring Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the William D. Ford Senior Activity Center, 6750 Troy.

Directed by Mark Ennis and comprised of voices from all around the Downriver area, the chorus will perform old standards and modern classics made
famous by Broadway and movie musicals -- and in some cases, both. The concert will delight music fans of all ages with songs from "The Sound of Music," "Evita," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," Disney's "The Little Mermaid" and more.

The Ford Senior Center is located at 6750 Troy, west of Telegraph Road and north of Ecorse Road. Tickets are $5 each. They can be obtained by calling Mark Ennis at (313) 291-7893 or at the door the night of the performance.

The chorus is under the umbrella of the Taylor Cultural Arts Commission and the Taylor Friends of the Arts. Friends of the Arts membership cards will be accepted.
