Taylor singer performs in free concert in Allen Park

Taylor singer, musician and songwriter Eliel Lyn Sagansay will perform with her band in a free concert at 7 p.m. Friday, July 16, at the Allen Park Civic Auditorium, 16850 Southfield Road.

Sagansay, 18, will perform a mix of pop, acoustic and Christian songs in the concert, called “Missions: The Heartbeat of God.” She will debut a single from her new album, “ADEBA.”

The concert also will feature Naomi Caridad, Nina Lesada, the Bosi Family Singers. Paul Edwards will be a guest speaker. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Sagansay is represented by the company Music Prescription.

Sponsors of the concert include Subway, Walmart, Henry Ford Hospital Wyandotte, the BP station on Outer Drive, Tim Horton’s, Erlika Dental Laboratory, Light Touch Windshield Repair and Kapapiran.

A native of the Philippines, Sagansay is a recent graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor. Part of a family of musicians, Sagansay sings and plays guitar and the French horn.
