Taylor on Watch held its initial meeting last night (April 23) in front of several dozen interested residents.
It was featured on WDIV Channel 4. For that segment, click here.
Taylor on Watch will hold the second of four regional meetings at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.
The program focuses on engaging city residents in educational crime-fighting tips. Crime prevention is a hot topic in our community, and the Taylor Police Department wants to teach the residents of the community some of the best ways to prevent crime coming coming into their neighborhoods.
The June regional meeting is for residents living between Van Born Road, Telegraph, Goddard and Inkster. Residents outside of that area are welcome to attend, but the discussion will attempt to focus on that region of the city.
Other meetings are planned, one each in September and November.
