Taylor's citywide rummage sale set for June 3-10

Taylor’s citywide rummage sale will be held June 3-10. No permit is required during this week only. Residents are encouraged to sell items at their own homes and visit other sales around the city.

On Friday and Saturday, June 11 and 12, after the rummage sales end, residents can dispose of unwanted rummage sale items free of charge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Taylor Hills Transfer Station and Compost Site located at 16300 Racho Road. Residents must provide identification.

No commercial dumping is involved in the program. No explosives, autos, auto parts, boats, concrete, hazardous waste, compostable materials or tree branches will be accepted. As a one-time service for Taylor residents, the Wayne County Department of Environment will provide a dumpster for disposal of passenger tires, limit 10 per address, on Saturday, June 12.
