TORNADO WARNING UNTIL 5:30 MONDAY, MAY 12
The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Tornado Warning for: Northern Monroe County in Southeast Michigan. Southwestern Wayne County in Southeast Michigan. That is why the City of Taylor's sirens went off just minutes ago.
Note the following:
- Until 5:30 pm EDT.
- At 4:25 pm EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles east of Milan, and moving east at 35 mph. Hazard, tornado and quarter size hail. Source, radar indicated rotation. Impact: flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile Homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
- This dangerous storm will be near. Sumpter Township and Scofield around 4:35 pm EDT. Waltz and Willow around 4:40 pm EDT. Newport around 4:50 pm EDT. Flat Rock and Rockwood around 4:55 pm EDT.
