Co-op Student Positions:


The City of Taylor is currently seeking applicants for high school co-op positions in various departments. Anyone seeking a co-op position should call the Human Resources Department at (734) 374-1369 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Limited number of positions available.


Golf, Parks, and Recreation Positions:

Line Cook-


Primary responsibilities include cooking, plating and garnishing orders and prep and portion control. Broiler, grill, fryer, sauté and pantry experience needed. Candidates need to possess experience in weekly and daily cleaning and maintenance of all cooking areas as well as cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage storage facilities and refrigeration and cooking appliances. Candidates must possess ability to communicate with all staff members and supervisors and listen effectively. Banquet/Catering experience desirable.


Salary is negotiable based on experience. Candidate will be scheduled twenty (20) to thirty (30) hours per week and must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.  Shift times vary depending on events and other business activities.


Shift Supervisor-

Taylor Golf is looking for shift supervisors for our restaurant and banquet facility. Responsibilities include overseeing restaurant staff, opening and closing procedures, customer service, managing day to day operations and light inventory.

 

Salary/Schedule: Hourly rate starts at $13.00 per hour with a higher rate available based on experience. Candidates must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Shifts vary depending on events and other business activities.
