The City of Taylor is seeking applicants for the following:
Taylor Sportsplex:

Concessions: 
Must be able to work 10-20 hours a week
Must be available Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00am until 10:00 p.m.
Possess ability to prepare snack type foods and operate a cash register
Event Staff:
Must be able to work 10-20 hours a week
Must be available Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00am until 10:00 p.m.
Possess ability to perform duties as a score-keeper and skate guard, service customers with skate rental, and clean facility

Taylor Golf:  Lakes of Taylor & Meadows Golf Course

Line Cook:
Job Description/Skills: Primary responsibilities include:  Cooking, plating and garnishing orders.  Prep and portion control.  Broiler, grill, fryer, sauté and pantry experience needed. Weekly and daily cleaning and maintenance of all cooking areas. Cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage storage facilities and refrigeration and cooking appliances. Ability to communicate with all staff members and supervisors and listen effectively.  Banquet/Catering experience desirable.
Salary/Schedule: Rate of pay will depend on experience.  Hours range from 20 to 30 hours per week.   Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.  Shift times vary depending on events and other business activities.

Seasonal Parks & Recreation:
Grass Cutting: 
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Must be 18 years of age.  
Ability to operate a riding mower required. 

Heritage Park Petting Farm Seasonal Positions:
Petting Farm Attendant (Part-Time)
School Tour & Birthday Party Coordinator (Part-Time)   

Senior Center Bus Driver (Part-time):
Able to work 10-20 hours each week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Qualified applicants must possess a CDL license
Knowledge of Taylor with regard to street locations is  preferred

Department of Public Services/DPW:
Temporary DPW Positions
The DPW is seeking candidates for temporary positions to perform grass cutting and various related duties as assigned.  Candidates must be able to operate a riding mower and be at least 18 years of age.  Candidates need to be available Monday through Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hourly rate for position is $10.00 an hour.
