The City of Taylor is seeking applicants for the following:

 

Golf, Parks, and Recreation Positions:


Adult Softball Coordinator (Part-time)-


Primary responsibilities include managing team registrations using Google Sheets, register all teams with state USSSF organization, collect all necessary team fees, maintain team rosters, secure payment for softball expenses and equipment, organize team meetings, advertise and promote program, create game schedules, secure umpires for all games, maintain grounds at Rotary Park which includes grass cutting and lining fields, and be present to oversee all games.


Preferred candidates have prior experience with coordinating softball programs.  Candidates must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and complete all job assignments accurately and timely.  Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Candidates must be able to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.


Salary is negotiable based on experience. This position does not afford benefits. Candidate must be able to all shifts necessary to perform primary responsibilities.  Shift times will vary based on game schedules and the maintenance needs of the grounds. 


TSX Soccer Coordinator (Part-time)-


Primary responsibilities include managing all soccer registrations using the Sports-It online system, assist all teams/players with the registration process, assign players and coaches to teams, order and distribute team t-shirts, create all league schedules for all winter and summer seasons, purchase necessary equipment, manage and submit referee payroll, partner with referee coordinator to ensure all games have the proper level of referee coverage, ensure all referees enforce program rules, manage all soccer rentals for various soccer clubs, update online score reporting system each week, promote and assist with soccer tournaments, and create budget and performance reports.

Line Cook-


Primary responsibilities include cooking, plating and garnishing orders and prep and portion control. Broiler, grill, fryer, sauté and pantry experience needed. Candidates need to possess experience in weekly and daily cleaning and maintenance of all cooking areas as well as cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage storage facilities and refrigeration and cooking appliances. Candidates must possess ability to communicate with all staff members and supervisors and listen effectively. Banquet/Catering experience desirable.


Salary is negotiable based on experience. Candidate will be scheduled twenty (20) to thirty (30) hours per week and must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.  Shift times vary depending on events and other business activities.
