Golf, Parks, and Recreation Positions:


Line Cook


Job Description/Skills: Primary responsibilities include cooking, plating and garnishing orders and prep and portion control. Broiler, grill, fryer, sauté and pantry experience needed. Weekly and daily cleaning and maintenance of all cooking areas. Cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage storage facilities and refrigeration and cooking appliances. Ability to communicate with all staff members and supervisors and listen effectively. Banquet/Catering experience desirable.


Salary/Schedule: Salary is based on experience. Hours would range from 20 to 30 hours per week. Willing to work around school schedule.  Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.  Shift times vary depending on events and other business activities.


Child Center Team Member –Recreation Center


As a Child Center Team Member, you will provide members and their children with a safe, healthy and inviting environment in which to play while allowing parents to work out using the facility.


Responsibilities


-Implement and organize fun and entertaining activities and games for children.

-Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and health environment with respect to the toys, other children, and surroundings.  

-Clean and maintain the Child Center by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.

-Exhibit outstanding customer service by developing positive relationships with members.


Requirements


-Previous experience preferred.

-Must be available to work morning, evening, and weekend shirts.  


 

Customer Service Personnel- Candidates must be able to perform a variety of customer service related duties and assist the manager on duty with general supervision of facility and programs. Must be able to answer phones, schedule rentals, accurately record payments and maintain front lobby area. Candidates will be expected to clean the facility as needed. A flexible work schedule is a must with some shifts starting at 6:00 am.  Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends.

 

Weight Room Attendee- Candidates must be able to perform a variety of customer service related duties and assist the manager on duty with general supervision of facility and programs. Candidates are responsible for maintaining the second floor gym and cardio rooms and ensure that all safety precautions are adhered to for members using the exercise equipment. A flexible work schedule is a must with some shifts starting at 6:00 am.  Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends

 

All persons hired for a Golf, Parks and Recreation position will be utilized in more than one facility as needed.

Senior Center Bus Driver:  Part-time, $12.00 an hour.  Candidates must be able to work 10-20 hours a week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Qualified applicants must possess CDL license.  Knowledge of Taylor with regard to street locations is preferred.

Taylor Sportsplex:

 

Concessions

• Must be able to work 10-20 hours a week

• Must be available Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00am until 10:00 p.m.

• Possess ability to prepare snack type foods and operate a cash register

 

Event Staff:

• Must be able to work 10-20 hours a week

• Must be available Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00am until 10:00 p.m.

• Possess ability to perform duties as a score-keeper and skate guard, service customers with skate rental, and clean facility
