Telegraph Chrysler Jeep unveils $2 million makeover in Taylor

A $2 million makeover at Telegraph Chrysler Jeep in Taylor provides the stylish setting for a Hollywood-style November 16 evening public premiere of hot new products in the success string of styling hits from the Chrysler Group.

Featured will be the new sports utility Chrysler Aspen, sleek, all-new-platform Chrysler Sebring, the new Jeep Compass, and the new four-door Jeep Wrangler. The premier event opens from 6 to 9 p.m. November 16  at the dealership at 12000 Telegraph Road, between Goddard and Northline roads, and continues through November 18. Test drives will be available for all new vehicles.

Telegraph Chrysler Jeep was formerly known as Taylor Chrysler Jeep until it was purchased in December 2004 by Dan Frost, Gary Wood and Paul Steel. Frost and Wood are co-owners of world sales leader Southfield Chrysler Jeep. Steel is the general manager of both stores.

The Telegraph store has vaulted from 800 new vehicle sales when they bought it at the end of 2004 to 2,200 units in 2005 and is on track for 2,800 units this year, making it now one of the top 11 Chrysler Jeep stores in the nation. The Southfield store is the world leader in Chrysler Jeep sales.

Premiere night features a Hollywood-style party atmosphere including entertainment, food, beverages, gifts and test drives. Those in attendance will know they’re at a special premiere as Hollywood-style search lights illuminate the sky for miles.

“We’ve put our hearts and souls into this new store along with the $2 million makeover,” co-owner Frost said. “It is really great to see our customers rewarding our investment and commitment to customer service by their dramatic increase in purchases.”

The recently remodeled store provides the perfect showcase to also premiere the new and much-anticipated Chrysler and Jeep products. The $2 million makeover includes new brand-specific showrooms, two customer service areas and other customer-focused physical improvements throughout the store.

A private ceremony marked the official dedication of the new facility November 15, 2006, featuring Taylor Mayor Cameron G. Preibe, DaimlerChrysler officials and store owners, managers and employees.

Telegraph Chrysler Jeep is a certified DaimlerChrysler Five Star Dealer, the automaker’s highest dealer recognition. The Five Star rating requires the dealership to earn consistently high scores on customer satisfaction surveys and meet rigorous standards in all areas of operation.

Telegraph Chrysler Jeep is part of the Chrysler Jeep Superstores Advertising Association, which is made up of the 39 independently owned Chrysler Jeep Superstores in Southeastern Michigan from Monroe to Fowlerville and from Clinton to Port Huron.
