Plumbers & mechanical association honored for volunteerism

The members of the Western Wayne Plumbing and Mechanical Association have been recognized as the City of Taylor volunteers of the month by Mayor Cameron G. Priebe. Eight members of the association were presented proclamations signed by the Mayor during the February 20, City Council meeting.

Last December 2, group members donated their time, materials and expertise to renovate the home of Doris Duplessie, an 82-year-old Taylor resident who was recently widowed. The act of goodwill took place in observance of Richter Day, a yearly tradition of volunteer service to Western Wayne County.
