Pet-A-Palooza returns to Heritage Park on June 2

In an attempt to find good homes for hundreds of homeless kittens, cats, puppies, rabbits and dogs, Greater Media’s 94.7 WCSX-FM is proud to sponsor “Pet-A-Palooza.”  The annual event will take place on Saturday, June 2, at Heritage Park in Taylor and on Saturday, July 28, at Freedom Hill County Park in Sterling Heights.

The events will include family and pet-oriented activities.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their pets to the event.  Prizes will be awarded for cutest pet and best-dressed pet contests.  Additionally, various pet vendors will be on site selling pet-related products and services.

2007 “Pet-A-Palooza” includes:
•More than 800 kittens, cats, puppies, dogs and rabbits in “Adoption Alley” from approximately 30 humane organizations that need good homes.  Qualified individuals can adopt an animal on site.  Adoption fees range from approximately $50 to $125.
•Former Detroit Tiger pitcher Milt Wilcox will attend “Pet-A-Palooza” with his nationally-known Ultimate Air Dogs Competition.
•Performances by the Rock-N-Roll K-9s: 35 dogs demonstrate speed and agility skills to rock-n-roll music.
