Taylor Rotary unveils new Web site

The Rotary Club of Taylor has officially launched its new Web site: www.taylorrotary.com

Active members can log in and edit their photos and information, add friends, view an up-to-date bulletin, see a full club directory with personal information and photos, and visit the message center to email the entire club members a message. Board members have access to update speakers, club events, news stories, club documents, photo journals and more.

There is a membership manager for dues, executives and many other administrative features. For the treasurer and secretary, there is another section devoted to meeting services, like member list, attendance reports, duty rosters, monthly reports and much more to make the burden of administration of the club less difficult.

The Taylor Rotary club is in need of sponsors for the new site. For $100 per year, businesses can show their support by assisting in defraying the cost to the club. The club’s web master will insert a business logo, with a link to the business, in the Taylor Rotary Web site’s special section for "Web site Sponsors."

A few of the “Projects of Excellence” of the men and women of Taylor Rotary are:
•Support for the Taylor Conservatory and Botanical Garden
•Sponsoring the annual Children’s Fishing Derby
•Christmas Gift Boxes to Nicaragua’s “Children of the dump” project
•"Turn off the Violence" annual community picnic
•Support for the Penrickton School for Blind Children
•Scholarships for Taylor high school students
•The Taylor Fire Department
•The Taylor Community Garden

"The Taylor Rotary Web site promises an exciting future," said Phil Matous, Taylor Rotary president. "This tool will help our club make a giant stride with technology, to keep us more organized and ease the workload of certain members by sharing the access across all the members."
