St. Alfred's annual Fall Festival rings In autumn season

A great tradition of food and fun returns to Taylor September 14-16 during the 43rd Annual St. Alfred Parish Fall Festival. All events will he held on the church grounds, 9500 Banner at Telegraph Road, just south of Wick Road.

Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Highlights include a midway with carnival rides, live entertainment, food tent, bingo, Vegas room, children's games, face painting, raffles and prizes.

The entertainment schedule includes:

Willie Nash 7-11:30 p.m. Friday.
Export 2-6 p.m. Saturday
Fifty Amp Fuse 7-11 p.m. Saturday
Muniz Family 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday
Steve King and the Dittlies 5:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday

Jyl Forsyth of 99.5 WYCD Country will broadcast live from the festival from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday.

Bingo will run from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Vegas hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

A game tent for kids provides fun for all and the food area features covered seating and a variety of selections, including hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, Mexican food, pitas, Italian sausage, kielbasa, pierogi, stuffed cabbage and more.
