Taylor Storm Baseball Team Fund-raiser

The Taylor Storm baseball program will hold a fund-raiser Saturday, February 2, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 8 p.m. Bowling follows at 9 p.m. Admission is $20 per person, which includes three games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling. Chasing the Dream Bowling Fund-raiser

A fund-raiser for Chasing the Dream is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 8 p.m. Bowling follows at 9 p.m. Admission is $35 per person, which includes three games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling, pizza and door prizes. Taylor United Hockey Team Fund-raiser

A fund-raiser for Taylor United high school varsity hockey team is scheduled for Friday, January 18, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 8 p.m. Bowling follows at 9 p.m. Admission is $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door. The event includes three games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling, pizza, pop, door prizes, 50/50 raffles and mystery games. Shoe rental is 99 cents. A fund-raiser for Class of 2008 at Harry S. Truman High School in Taylor is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 8 p.m. Bowling follows at 9 p.m. Admission is $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door. The event includes three games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling, pizza and 50/50 raffles. A fund-raiser for Downriver Leafs hockey team is scheduled for Friday, February 22, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. A fund-raiser for Truman High School varsity bowling team is scheduled for Sunday, January 20, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. Bowling follows at 4 p.m. Admission is $12 per person or $15 at the door, which includes three games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling. A fund-raiser for Alpha Sorority Teachers is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Check-in begins at 2 p.m. Bowling follows at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $20 per person, which includes two games of nine-pin, no-tap bowling, pizza and pop. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Youth All-Night Parties

Martin Luther King All Night Lock-In Bowling Party

Skore Lanes will host an all-night lock-in bowling party from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, January 20, to 7 a.m. Monday, January 21 (which is Martin Luther King Day). The bowling center is located at 22255 Ecorse Road. The event is open to children 8 to 13. In addition to all night bowling, there will be music, fun events, pizza, pop and a continental breakfast. Mid-Winter Break All Night Lock-In Bowling Party

Skore Lanes will host an all-night lock-in bowling party from 11:45 p.m. Sunday, February 24, to 7 a.m. Monday, February 25, during the mid-winter break from the Taylor School District. The bowling center is located at 22255 Ecorse Road. The event is open to children 8 to 13. In addition to all night bowling, there will be music, fun events, pizza, pop and a continental breakfast. Bowling Clubs

Red Wings Bowling Club

Skore Lanes will host a nine-week Red Wings Bowling Club at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning February 6. The club, open to those 21 and older, includes two games per week, your first Miller 16-ounce draft beer or Pepsi, first-place awards and an upper bowl ticket to the April 6 Detroit Red Wings game vs. Chicago at Joe Louis Arena. There also will be a Red Wings Bowling Club Bash with food and fun. Admission to the club includes a $10 registration fee and $12.95 per week fee. Skore Lanes is located at 22255 Ecorse Road. $5.95 Bowling Club

Bowlers are invited to join the $5.95 Bowling Club at Skore Lanes. The 10-week club takes place at 8:30 p.m. Sundays, beginning January 13, or Mondays, beginning January 21. Teams of four (men and/or women) bowl three games each week and enjoy food specials for club bowlers only: 99-cent hod dogs, fries and soft drinks. The fee to bowl is $5.95 per week. iPod Nano Bowling Club

Bowlers are invited to join the iPod Nano Bowling Club at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. The 20-week club takes place at 6:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning January 14. Participants will bowl two games each week. After 20 weeks, each player will receive his or her own iPod Nano. Admission is $11.95 per person per week, plus a $10 registration fee. Hot Dog Gang

Bowlers are invited to join the Hot Dog Gang bowling club at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. The 12-week club takes place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning January 22. Participants will bowl two games each week and have a hot dog and soft drink. (There is no charge for shoe rental.) There will be a pizza party and awards at the end of the program. Super Bowlin’ Kids

Skore Lanes is offering a great learn-to-bowl program that provides a new bowling ball and bag for every child that bowls. Bowling takes place at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays, beginning January 19. There are two weeks of bowling instruction, free use of shoes and two games every week. Besides the new ball and bag, bowlers receive 10 free game passes. The cost is $8.95 per bowler per week. Youth Bike & Bowl

Children that enjoy bowling and bicycling can get both at Skore Lanes. A 16-week program begins at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 10. Adult/Youth Sportsmen’s Paradise Club

Bowlers are invited to join the Adult/Youth Sportsmen's Paradise Club at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. The 16-week bowling club takes place at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning January 21. Teams of two (one adult, one youth) bowl two games each week and receive a $150 gift certificate to their choice of Dick's Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain or Cabela's. Valentine Scotch Doubles No-Tap Tournament

The Valentine Scotch Doubles No-Tap Bowling Tournament is set for 9 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at Skore Lanes, 22255 Ecorse Road. Each team (one man, one woman) bowls four games of Scotch Doubles (bowlers roll every other ball). The $35 entry fee includes bowling, pizza, salad, pop, prize money and mystery games.
