Taylor schools' annual Family Enrichment Fair is March 8

The annual Family Enrichment Fair sponsored by the Taylor School District is expected to attract hundreds of families for a wide variety of activities and information.

This year's fair starts with registration from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Kennedy High School.

Sessions at the free fair begin at 10 a.m. and repeat at 11 a.m. Some of the topics include "What's Fluttering in Your Yard?," "Frame Your Family," "Pinecone Bird Feeders," "Edible Vegetable People" and "Arts and Scraps."

Free photos will be provided with a popular character in the school library.

Exhibitors will include Poof the Clown, the Fur Angels, Olson's Party Rental (free popcorn), the Taylor Community Library, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Taylor Conservatory, Lakes of Taylor and Taylor Meadows golf clubs, the Taylor Police Department with its canine unit, the Fire Department, the Historical Society, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, the Michigan State Police and The Guidance Center.

Lunch will be provided in the cafeteria with entertainment provided by the Gratitude Steel Band.
