High school students interested in a night of fun and games can take part in the X-Treme Lock-in set for January 19-20 at the Taylor Recreation Center, 22805 Goddard Road.

The 10-hour event is hosted by Mayor Cameron G. Priebe’s Youth Advisory Council, which plans events for younger people in the city and provides advice to the city administration about the needs of teen-agers.

Doors open at 9:30 p.m. January 19. The fun starts a half hour later, at 10 p.m., and ends at 8 a.m. January 20.

Food will be provided along with dancing, music and games. Racquetball, wallyball, basketball and the workout rooms will be available. Local bands will perform throughout the night.

The fee is $10 in advance or $13 at the door. For a registration form, which requires a parent’s signature, visit the Recreation Center.
