Project Healthy Living returns to Taylor

Project Healthy Living returns to Taylor from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Taylor Activity Building, 12115 Pardee Road.

The day includes health screenings, tests and counseling services designed to detect health problems early. Most tests and services are free of charge, but participants must be 18 or older to participate. All tests are performed by professionals. Fasting is not required for most tests.

Provided by Oakwood Heritage Hospital staff and volunteers include:
■Pulmonary Function Testing by a respiratory therapist
■Nutrition Counseling by a Registered Dietitian
■Pulse Oxymetry by a respiratory therapist
■Depression/Anxiety Screening by a mental health professional
■Therapy Education by a physical/occupational therapist
■Breast Care Health and Mammography by the Radiology Department

■Blood Pressure Checks
■Vision Screening
■Hearing Screening
■Height and Weight
■Body Composition Testing
