Planning Department The Planning Department oversees all planning and zoning services in the City of Taylor. It manages and coordinates all new commercial and industrial review and development, new subdivision development, as well as additions and/or changes to existing development, with its goal being sustainable quality community growth in accordance with the City’s Master Plan, Zoning Ordinance and policies set by State and Local law. The Planning Department also serves as liaison to both the Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

PLANNING COMMISSION The Planning Commission meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M.	ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the second and last Wednesday of the month from April – September and the last Wednesday of the month from October – March. The meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M.
