Dinner at J.P. McGuire's will benefit family of fallen auxiliary police Lt. Kromer

The family of fallen Taylor Auxiliary Police Lt. Dan Kromer will benefit from dinners served Wednesday, December 1, at J.P. McGuire's Bar & Grill at 21138 Goddard Road in Taylor.

An all-you-can-eat taco dinner buffet will be served for $7.95 starting at 5 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the family of Lt. Kromer, who was killed September 7 while assisting a stranded motorist on I-94 in Taylor.

Lt. Kromer, 54, lived with his wife in Newport. He was a 20-year veteran of the all-volunteer Taylor Auxiliary Police Department and a past auxiliary officer of the year. Lt. Kromer was the first Taylor Auxiliary Police officer killed
