| VIP Program: | The VIP Program, a special activity program for individuals with disabilities, will be held June 19 – August 3. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes weekly field trips, crafts, sports and much more. Held in the Activity Building in Heritage Park, the program has limited space available for ages 8 – 17. Program fee is $65 per student. Registration begins May 23, 2006 at the Golf, Parks and Recreation Office, located at 22805 Goddard Road. For more info call (734) 374-3906 |

| Community Center Pool: |
Located at Sheridan Community Center, supervised open swimming is available from June through Labor Day (weather permitting) at minimal cost. Pool hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday and Wedneday; noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Swimming lessons, senior citizen swimming, aerobics and adult night swimming are also available. Seasonal pool passes are available. Call (734) 374-3906 for more information. |

| Community Chorus: |
The chorus meets at 7:30 p.m. Mondays at the William Ford Senior Activity Center. The group welcomes area residents, from high school students through senior citizens. There are no auditions. | Heritage Park Plaza Commemorative Brick Paver Program: |
Honor and remember your special occasions with a beautiful inscribed brick paver installed in Heritage Park. Purchase a paver to commemorate a birth, baptism, graduation, anniversary, or wedding - just about any occasion is appropriate for a paver. The pavers will be used to create a new plaza south of the Greenwald House, home of Maggie’s Sweet Shop and The Luminaria candle shop. Pavers are available in two sizes, 4’ x 8’ and 8’ x 8’. Each size is available in styles with or without artwork. There are 27 standard clipart images to choose from for your paver. A 4’ x 8’ brick costs $55 for inscription, $65 for inscription with artwork. An 8’ x 8’ brick costs $105 for inscription only, $115 for inscription with artwork. Company logos or other special artwork can be reproduced on pavers for an additional fee. Quotes are given upon request. Brick paver order forms are available in the Parks and Recreation office. |

Located off Van Born Road, between Inkster and Beech Daly roads, Northwest Pool features supervised open swimming from June through Labor Day (weather permitting). Pool hours are Noon to 7 p.m. daily. Night swimming for adults and swimming lessons are also available. The fee is $3 per Taylor resident; $5 for non-residents. Seasonal pool passes are available. Features at Northwest Pool include a zero-depth entry, which is great for small children, a bench inside the pool for seating and five water play features designed for children. Taylor Sports & Recreation Hall of Fame: |
The Hall of fame is located at the entrance of the Taylor Sportsplex, this recognizes individuals for their athletic achievements and/or contributions to Taylor organized sports and recreation. Nominations are accepted in the Golf, Parks and Recreation office. |

This exciting event is at Heritage Park, includes the Downriver area's largest fireworks display (with music), concerts, a 5K run, Vegas tent, fireworks, family games, puppet shows, a fishing derby, a huge carnival, a kids carnival, and lots, lots more. Classes offered at the Recreation Center include ballet, pointe and partnering; traditional jazz, theatre dance, hip-hop and world beat; tap and tap funk; Polynesian and Tahitian dance. A Tiny Tot program is available for children two through four. |
