Taylor Fall Fest is a great family event

The annual Taylor Fall Fest is set for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 7, at Heritage Park. Fall Fest -- a great way to spend a fall day -- is an event with something for everyone. Activities include free pumpkin decorating, free hay rides, "dip your own" caramel apples ($1), craft making, hay rides and playing on inflatable attractions ($1 each or $5 all day). Cider and donuts are only 50 cents each. A combination of hot dog, chips and pop will be $2. Special appearances will be made by the Old Country Buffet "Bee," Famous Dave's "Wilbur the Pig," and "Andy the Armadillo" from Texas Roadhouse. For more information, please call the City of Taylor Department of Golf, Parks and Recreation at (734) 374-3906. Also check out the Fall Fest at the Petting Farm the same day.
