COVID-19 UPDATE: MSU, others faces back-to-campus problems

Michigan State University will move all undergraduate instruction online for the fall semester amid the COVID-19 pandemic, dropping initial plans to offer some in-person classes. Other universities had similar issues – North Carolina canceled in-person classes; Notre Dame paused them for two weeks; and Hawaii had a COVID-19 outbreak among teachers. According to the August 18, 2020, countywide totals, Taylor had nine new confirmed cases but no new deaths. It’s cases now total 912 this year, including 73 deaths.
