The City of Taylor will hold a five-year review of its Master Plan at 6 p.m. March 20 in the City Council Chambers, in accordance with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. The Planning Commission review is open to the public. Taylor’s Master Plan was completely updated in 2008,. A five-year review was done in 2013, with final adoption of amendments in 2014. While much of the plan may continue to be valid, there may be areas of the plan need to be amended and changed where warranted. Once the commission concludes its review, it will forward recommendations to City Council, for adoption, if needed.
